At Brobst Cleaning Services, we specialize in high-quality residential and commercial cleaning services. We are committed to providing outstanding service and maintaining flexibility with our clients. Please take a moment to review our updated policies, which ensure the smooth operation of our business and a high standard of service for all customers.
Scope of Services:
We offer:
· Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly cleaning
· Specialty services such as post-event cleaning, moving cleaning
· Carpet, tile and grout, and dryer vent cleaning
We are not:
· A home health care service provider
· Handy man service
· A dish washing or laundry service
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and we are flexible with cancellations or rescheduling of services. Please review the following terms:
Cancellation: If you need to cancel your cleaning appointment, we require 48-hour notice. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will incur a fee of 50% of the quoted job. If you are a regular customer, you will have this added to your next cleaning. If you are not a regular cleaning customer, you will receive an invoice through Square.
Rescheduling: We are happy to reschedule a cleaning service. If you need to change your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours' notice. There are no fees for rescheduling with sufficient notice.
Sick Policy: If you or a member of your household is ill or experiencing symptoms of illness, please notify us as soon as possible. We will reschedule the cleaning to ensure the safety of our staff and to adhere to health protocols. In such cases, no cancellation fee will be charged.
We prioritize health and safety for both our clients and our team members. This includes, but is not limited to:
· Cleaning Services: All cleaning staff follow strict guidelines for handling cleaning products and cleaning high-touch areas to prevent the spread of illness.
· Illness Precaution: If you or our team members are feeling unwell, we ask for cooperation in rescheduling services to maintain a safe environment. Rescheduling due to sickness will not be penalized.
· Any items that weigh over fifty pounds will not be moved.
· Any item that is fragile or extremely valuable will not be cleaned.
· Any medical equipment will not be moved.
We realize that customers’ preferences for cleaning products can vary. We will work with each customer to determine mutually agreed upon cleaning products. If this means you want us to use your cleaning products, we will respect that choice. We do our best to use environmentally friendly cleaning chemicals. This includes the chemicals we use for carpet and tile and grout cleaning.
Some customers prefer that we use their vacuum, and we are fine with this.
Feel free to use any chemicals left behind, with the exception of carpet cleaning chemicals, until we come back for the next cleaning. We have multiple spray bottles of each cleaning product that we use.
Please notify us immediately of all equipment or carpet cleaning chemicals left behind.
We do a blacklight inspection the very first-time cleaning for a customer and quarterly thereafter.
We clean homes ceiling to floor. This is the specific order:
· Dusting
· Glass, walls, light switches, cabinets, furniture, baseboards, and floors.
· Restrooms are the same as above except we clean the shower/tub after furniture and clean the toilet before the baseboards.
We require that each restroom have its own toilet brush. The only time we accommodate for this is if it is a moving cleaning.
· Separate cleaning cloths will be utilized for each room.
· A cleaning cloth that touches the floor will only be used to clean the floor that it touches.
· We will redo any work that is not up to our standard during the same visit. Some areas that have been neglected for years are a work in progress and might not yield satisfactory results after the first few cleanings.
We are fine with pets. In fact, I (Jeremiah) love dogs. We do have some simple policies regarding pets:
Homes that have pets that shed excessively will be charged an extra $5 an hour effectively March 1, 2025. I will verbally communicate this to any customer that it applies to. Any questions about this can be directed to me. Brobstcleaningsvcs@gmail.com
We will be providing spotting chemicals to all customer that have pets and carpet in their home. It is our gift to you!
We accept cash, checks, or can email an invoice (6% PA sales tax included on all invoices). All invoices are given two weeks to pay. A 10% per week late fee will be added to all late payments.
